Purdue's offense suffered what quarterback Austin Appleby called a "big blow" when leading receiver Danny Anthrop tore the ACL in his right knee on Saturday against Nebraska.
Anthrop, a West Lafayette native, injured the knee on a second-half punt return. He was forced into that role because No. 1 returner Frankie Williams left the game with a concussion.
