CREATORS PAVILION The Creators Pavilion is located on Level 1 in the Exhibit Hall of the Palmer Events Center. It is the can't-miss attraction of SX Create and is filled with makers of all varieties sharing their products, innovations and ideas. This is a hands-on educational experience and is open to attendees and makers of all ages. No badges are required. SESSIONS Sessions with SX Create-themed topics will take place in the Level 2 Meeting Rooms of the Palmer Events Center. An array of maker topics will be discussed and shared daily by an exciting set of panelists. The SX Create Day Stage will host featured sessions and will be located on Level 1 in the Exhibit Hall of the Palmer Events Center. CREATE HANGOUTS During SX Create Hangouts in the SX Create Hangout Zone, located on Level 1 in the Exhibit Hall of the Palmer Events Center, you can join other attendees in informal sessions with interesting maker-related topics to learn, ask questions or just to discuss and network. WELCOME TO SX CREATE 2016 Combining two previously unrelated things together and creating something new is at the core of the maker movement. SX Create is a passionate celebration of these ideas and innovations. Pre- sented by Dremel, it celebrates the maker movement, serving as the hands-on, DIY, hacker and science arm of SXSW Interactive. Doing creative and revolutionary things with new technolo- gies embodies the spirit of the SXSW Interactive Festival, and nowhere is this spirit more evident than in the diverse mix of activities at SX Create. From 3D printing to robots to bio-art and much more, this community event showcases the empowering, open source, shareable, do-it-yourself solutions that are shaping our future. SX Create comprises both a hands-on area known as the Cre- ators Pavilion as well as daily Meet Ups and Panel sessions in the West Pincer Lounge and West Pincer Terrace of the Long Center. An official part of SXSW Interactive since 2012, this event is free and open to the public. SX Create takes place March 11–13 from 11:00am–6:00pm at the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Road).
