When you have the likes of Carl Cox, Seth Troxler and Joris Voorn playing extended 3 hours plus sets in one of the best venues in the UK, you'll realise what life is for. LWE executed the event beautifully, picking some of the most experienced, influential and respected figures in the game and providing them with a blank canvas to musically express themselves with a little help from their friends. PREVIEW SECRET SOLSTICE Revellers will flock to Iceland's capital – Reykjavic – in June for Secret Solstice, a festival which the sun never sets on. The event's third edition will take place over June 17-19, 2016, over the summer solstice weekend – three days of full daylight, due to the city's proximity to the Arctic Circle. The festival's third phase lineup announcement included Radiohead in their Icelandic debut, Jamie Jones and Roisin Murphy. REVIEW Last Saturday, the 19th March, Manchester's Hidden got a healthy dose of love from South Africa's Culoe de Song and the USA's Maurice Fulton. They were joined by Love Dose Records' own Josimar and Anton Fitz. Hidden is a northern gem and was the perfect setting for Love Dose's signature blend of house, techno and disco. Whilst Soulistic Music man Culoe de Song dropped an eclectic mix, Maurice Fulton was a highlight of the night, blending classics and leftfield selections seamlessly. NEWS FLASH HIP HOP / RNB HOUSE / TECHNO DRUM & BASS INDIE / ROCK REGGAE Havoc, of Mobb Deep is back again with a new album. Two pioneers of the hip hop world, Havoc and the highly decorated producer The Alchemist, have come together to make a collaborative album titled 'The Silent Partner'. They have also shared their new single, 'Maintain (F*ck How You Feel)' on HotNewHipHop. The couple have had a musical relationship for many years. To find the new single go to our website to check out their Soundcloud. DJ Four Tet has been tweeting recently about his feelings towards there not being enough music clubs in London. "There is no club in London right now where the sound is so good it will change your life. We need this." He wants to buy the Trocodero in Leicester Square and turn into in to a 'London equivalent of Berghain'. Do it. Bad Taste, Eatbrain and Methlab Recordings have collaborated to launch Youtube Channel "Terminal," which includes forward-thinking labels who wish to revolutionise and evolve modern music, sound design and visual art forms, with more names set to join the platform. It promises to pop off! Go get your fix and subscribe now. Global Media Company Vice has sent a Cease-and-Desist order to unsigned Indie band ViceVersa, arguing that the band's name and logo are too much like Vice's, stating that it was "likely to confuse consumers." Bare confusing innit. Yep Roc Music Group is launching an immense reissue of The Wailers' first album 'The Wailing Wailers' from legendary record label Studio One. The reissue is due to launch May 27th and will feature over 150 titles. Billy Maupin of Yes Roc said "We are very excited for the opportunity and thankful for the trust carol Dodd and her team has afforded us." CULOE DE SONG AND MAURICE FULTON GET A LOVE DOSE MORE @ GUESTLIST.NET We popped to Manchester for a Love Dose
