But the former Boiler- maker has not attended the Cowboys' vol- untary offsea- son condition- ing program. Orton, who graduated from Purdue on Sat- urday, has not spoken pub- licly about his plans, but his agent, David Dunn, said at the NFL owners meetings that retirement has not been an op- tion, according to ESPN.com. However, on Friday morning, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Orton has told the Cowboys he wants to retire. Orton, Tony Romo's back- up, has one year left on a contract he signed with Dallas in 2012.
