Purdue will probably have to shoot and rebound well in East Lansing in order to land the win that might take it off the bubble. This is the third time in the Matt Painter Era at Purdue that the Boilermakers have been in this sort of position late in the year. In 2007, it was generally thought it had to win a Big Ten Tournament game to get in the NCAA field. It did, then did. In 2012, Purdue was on very shaky ground until it ruined senior day at No. 11 Michigan late in the season.
