GUESTLIST RECOMMENDS: KIJE 44 ISSUE 912/ 2016 They're back in London this November. He's been making waves in the scene. More brutal sounds from Russia, this time from new kid in the block, Kije. He's stepped up for a mammoth release for Critical's Binary series. He doesn't let team Critical down, sorting them with a tough 4 tracked package that'll tear the floors apart. He wastes no time getting right down to it, fixing up some serious cuts that'll sure please the neuro- heads. Each track is as harsh and bitter as the next, Kije has got that industrial sound down to a tee. Sinister soundscapes and rugged drops are standard here. Kije has laid down his law - and when it sounds as perfect as this no one's complaining. The YouTube channel, turned record label and events team are back in London. Taking over Electric Brixton on the the 5th November, they'll prove just why they are one of Europe's biggest drum & bass events. Partying from 10 till 6, they bring a sick line up to grace the clubs decks. Label co-runner Maduk will be joined by other luminary liquid heads Koven, Keeno, Fox Stevenson, Mediks, Memro and Monrroe. Up on hosting duties on the night is MC Mota & MC Tempza. Liquicity have had another banging year of events, including their festival this summer. If their track record is anything to go by then this will go off! ALBUM OF THE MONTH: FULL CYCLE RETROSPECTIVE VOL. 1 The Full Cycle revival is in full swing, but for their release they'll be looking back to 12 of their classic tracks. Since re-opening this March, Full Cycle have dropped straight up fire from guys like Need For Mirrors, D Product, and DLR. Their fifth release will see the launch of a new compilation, Full Cycle Retrospective - the first in from a series that'll feature classic Full Cycle music with some new cuts from themselves. Classic tracks that defined the labels sounds will be made available on digital for the first time as Roni & Krust raid their dub plate vaults for the very best of Full Cycle. For the first edition landmark tracks like Roni & Die's 'Music Box', Krust's 'Follow Da Vision' and Bailey's remix of 'Forgot Me Knots' all make the cut for volume one. Across all 12 tracks smooth melodies and clear cut breaks are on full display showcasing exactly what these guys are all about. The retrospective album makes the classic Full Cycle sound available once again, and it sounds so good!
