NEWS: MUMFORD AND SONS' BEN LOVETT TO OPEN NEW LONDON MUSIC VENUE ALBUM OF THE MONTH: LEWIS DEL MAR AND THEIR DEBUT ALBUM Lewis Del Mar are ready to release their self-titled debut album on 7th October. Lewis Del Mar - lifelong friends Danny Miller and Max Harwood - only burst onto the scene around a year ago and they've already made a remarkable impact. Their debut EP has brought the Rockaway Beach band to the attention of some of music's most influential tastemakers such as Annie Mac, Phil Taggart, Huw Stephens, John Kennedy and Lauren Laverne. They recently made their U.S TV debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden and have played standout performances at SXSW, Lollapalooza, The Great Escape, Dot To Dot Festival and Reading & Leeds, as well as packed out shows in London. The highly anticipated ten-track album builds on the hype of the Loud(y) EP and proves that the band really are something special. Track opener 'Such Small Scenes' sets the tone for the duration, before launching into recent triumphs '14 Faces' and 'Painting (Masterpiece)'. The record effortlessly moves between up-tempo, rockier numbers and more melodic, softer tracks, without losing that unique fusion of acoustic and electronica that is fast becoming their signature sound. TRACK OF THE MONTH: 33 "GOD" Bon Iver's new album is an incredible new release. This first single has an amazing unique vibe. The American Indie Folk band, Bon Iver are back with a whole intriguing new album called 22, A Million. Their new third LP is a concept album that explores a whole new level of "crazy-good" music and it can be tied with the unique new genre: folktronica. One of the first tracks that have been released is 33 "God": The track uses sings and drums and after starting slowly, then kicks in for a powerful chorus. Justin Vernon's voice is just beautiful and 33 "God" has just an unique lyricism. It's impossible to ignore the great achievement they have reached. 22, A Million is just a musical experience. Critics are raving for this latest album, let's hope they will get the recognition they deserve.
