Birdy's Autumn tour includes dates in the UK & Ireland, with a show at London's Hammersmith Apollo. Bastille are a British indie rock band started their career in 2010. The group began as a solo project by singer Dan Smith, later decided to form the band. In 2012, their first official single "Overjoyed", was released as part of their debut studio album, Bad Blood. It smashed the indie world and won vast amounts of praise by critics. Now their career is getting them to the top of charts. Wild World is their second album which is trekking all the way to Number 1. Bastille have topped the Official Albums chart for the second time in their careers. Dan, Kyle, Chris and Will's second studio album obtained a combined sales of 36,000. There is much love for this guys and it is totally deserved: they are refreshing and thrilling. Wild World and Bad Blood must be in your playlist, if you love indie music! Birdy, the British musician, singer and songwriter who won the music competition Open Mic UK at the age of 12 will return to London. Her new tour includes a date at the Eventim Apollo on Thursday 20th October. She's almost twenty, but Birdy's been releasing music at a prolific rate. GUESTLIST RECOMMANDS: BASTILLE EVENT REVIEW: BIRDY AT EVENTIM APOLLO ARTIST OF THE MONTH: PIXIES The alternative rock American band are releasing a new album, Head Carrier. On September 30th, Pixies released their latest album, Head Carrier following their 2014 Indie Cindy & 1991's Trompe Le Monde. The new LP will include a song titled "All I Think About Now",which is a thank-you letter to founding bassist Kim Deal. It will be sung by the new bass player, Lenchantin. Deal left the band in 2013, but Pixies are still fond of her and they want to remember the great run she had with this incredible American music group. Apparently the new album will lean more towards the early Pixies' vibe. It has been a while since their latest LP, but it was worth the wait: Pixies are just incredible!
