Michelle Cabassol was a two-time diving All-American – from the 1-meter and 3-meter boards. Purdue and Big Ten Female Athlete of the Year Dani Bunch was a three- time first team All-American. She was named the Big Ten Field Athlete of the Year for the indoor season and swept the Big Ten Field Athlete of the Championships and Big Ten Field Athlete of the Year awards for the outdoor campaign. Andie Varsho set school career records with a .398 batting average and 275 hits en route to earning first team All-Big Ten and all-region honors and being named a first team Academic All-American. Led by Adam Schenk, men's golf had a fantastic season that wound up with a 27th-place finish at the NCAA Championships. Purdue finished fifth at the Big Ten Championships for its best showing since 2007. Men's tennis enjoyed a historic season that included the program's highest-ever national ranking at No. 28, a 15-8 overall record and its first NCAA Championships appearance in a dozen years. Raheem Mostert earned the title of "fastest man in the Big Ten" after winning the 60 and 200 meters at the indoor championships and the 100 and 200 meters outdoors. He swept Big Ten Track Athlete of the Championships honors and was Purdue's Male Athlete of the Year. Former football player Stuart Schweigert and former women's basketball player Natalia Bogdanova served as hosts of the second-annual Golden Petes Award Show, the artful blend of accomplishment and fun celebrating the achievements of Boilermaker student-athletes. Chukwuebuka Enekwechi earned three All-America honors and was the Big Ten champion in the hammer throw.
