Robinson's hoping for a much bigger day for a sendoff in his home state Saturday. "It'll be exciting," the fifth-year senior from Rochester, Ill., said. "It's my home state, home school. I loved Illinois growing up. I had a Chief painted in my room. Times are different. Once the ball snaps, it's another football game, I'll for- get all that stuff. But the week leading up to it, I think about that stuff." Players can qualify for the list by getting a 3.0 grade-point-average or better for the semester. The Boilermakers had 40 players make the list in the fall. The team posted a 2.78 GPA for the spring, up from a 2.65 in the fall, and improved its cumulative GPA to 2.77, up from 2.75 prior to the spring semester. It is the highest team GPA for football in at least 20 years.
