The prognosticators have to rank the games 1-5. The prognosticators assign a 5 to the game they are most certain and a 1 to the game they are least certain. Points will be tabulated throughout the season with each week having a maximum of 15 points. In case of a tie, the Maniac coming closest to predicting the total points in the featured Purdue game will be the winner. Weekly Media Mania winners receive a dinner certificate for two to Bruno's Swiss Inn, located in West Lafayette and the yearly winner will be presented with the Golden Typewriter as the top Media Maniac.
