GOLDANDBLACK EXPRESS • VOLUME 25, EXPRESS 9 • 34 gers' offense had 527 yards, 311 of which came from the ground, yet Gordon had his second-low- est yardage output of the season (122). He still managed three touchdowns, all during the first half. Quarterback Joel Stave also contributed to the effort with 155 yards through the air and two passing touchdowns. The Badger defense held vaunted Terrapin wide receiver Stefon Diggs to season lows in receptions (one) and yards (21). Nov. 22, vs. Northwestern The Wildcats take a road trip this week to face Iowa as both teams are coming off a bye week. Northwestern's offense has struggled this season, as it has yet to score 30 points in a game. But freshman running back Justin Jackson has been a bright spot as he has eclipsed the 100- yard mark in each the past three contests. Quarterback Trevor Siemian has struggled in his final sea - son in Evanston. Though he has recorded 1,496 passing yards, Siemian has thrown six inter- ceptions and only four touch- downs. Northwestern will have to rely on its defense, which only surrenders 20.4 points per game and is ranked in the top- 25 nationally. Nov. 29, at Indiana The Hoosiers travel to Michi- gan Stadium after having a hav- ing a week off. IU has not won in Ann Arbor since 1967. Both teams enter Saturday under .500 and are a combined 1-6 in conference play. Despite struggling as a team, Tevin Coleman has drawn national attention for Indiana for his rushing performances. The junior running back averages 8.8 yards per carry and is third in the nation with 1,192 yards. The Hoosier passing game, however, has done a 180 after starting quarterback Nate Sud- field suf- fered a sea- s o n - e n d i n g shoulder in- jury at Iowa. T h e H o o s i e r s have turned to fresh- man Zander D i a m o n t to fill Sud- field's spot. D i a m o n t scored a r u s h i n g t o u c h - down in his first start, but only m u s t e r e d 11 yards through the air. His first road game will be in the college f o o t b a l l ' s largest sta - dium, but Coach Kevin Wilson told the media that he has confidence in the freshman. j ON TAP SATURDAY Game Time (ET) TV Line Northwestern at Iowa Noon BTN Iowa -4.5 Maryland at Penn State Noon ESPN2 PSU -3.5 Wisconsin at Rutgers Noon ESPN Off board Indiana at Michigan 3:30 p.m. BTN Michigan -7 PURDUE at No. 17 Nebraska 3:30 p.m. ABC/ESPN2 Nebraska -23.5 Illinois at No. 13 Ohio State 8 p.m. ABC OSU -28.5 All times ET BYE: Michigan State, Minnesota Source: DannySheridan.com BIG TEN STANDINGS EAST DIVISION Big Ten/Pct.
