Robinson, the senior linebacker, had surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, Hazell said. Rob- inson injured the knee against Illinois on Oct. 4 and briefly con- sidered not having surgery and trying to return to the field in his final season. But Robinson's knee never felt really stable, he said. Gilliam's surgery to repair his torn ACL was weeks earlier and went well, Hazell said.
